Glendeg Llaith or "Beautiful Death" in Welsh. We are vamps of a different stripe. Being old souls before our turning. We are close knit as even families go. Astoroth our elder male was created after a very treacherous betrayal. Because of this, he dedicates his undead life in the pursuit of vengeance.
It was during one of his travels that had brought him to Ceredigion, a small Welsh village. Injured and weak from an encounter he found his way to a small forest and the home of a gypsy woman. Never being one to turn away a soul in need she took him in and tended his wounds. She knew what he was, but saw that there was still good inside him. His convalescence was long and in no time Astoroth had fallen in love with the gypsy woman, and she fell for him. Though different in many ways they did share one thing in common, a hatred for werewolves. It was a pack of werewolves that had destroyed her caravan. She survived only because she was in the village during the attack. None was spared.
The day come when Astoroth was fully healed, and not wanting to lose the gypsy he had turned her for love. Her turning was not a violent act, as she accepted it. It was a beautiful death and together they formed the Glendeg Llaith Vampire clan.
