Engal and Gabriela, the best warriors of werewolves" leader. In the furious battle with elite forces of vampire"s duke, they were flying their dragons, charged with guarding leader"s son, and may the situation require it, defending him with their own lives. But down there, on the earth, their cubs, their own children, fought in the front line against perfectly trained vampire"s army. Both of them left their places in the air and started protecting young ones they cared for.

They eventually won the battle. However, leader"s son was dead. Gabriela and Engal were accused of treason, banished from the kingdom of werewolves, and their dragons were put to death. Day after day, aimlessly wandering the countryside, lead them to a certain green field. Green field, where all the cubs they managed to protect in the battle were lying. Killed by the paw of leader"s guards. Long nights and long days they spent, awake, watching upon their once lively progeny, when at last, the pagan Moonfairy took mercy on them. She took part of their souls and split it among the bodies of their sons and daughters. Whole family reunited started living by themselves, far far away from the kingdom.

More like phantoms than werewolves, only the light of the Moon can reveal their true face – only ghosts, parts of souls, who only together show the strength which reigns over the kind of werewolf riders.
