Clan Description
As the shadows that swiftly chased the last of the suns rays engulf the dismal landscape before you, a solitary light from a window in a lofty, lonely tower beckons your attentions nearer. As you emerge from a blockade of foliage, a great monolith stands before you. This dark mottled-grey slab of stone jutting from the cold, hard earth beneath appears to have something etched into its surface just above eye level, reading the following:
Caveo reproba spes ut lacto phasmatis
Complexo sententia ut occupo mens
Licentio somnium ut obsideo animus
Elatum nox noctis visum of cruor Kine.
A quick glance at your Latin-to-English Dictionary reveals that the cryptic text reads:
Beware false hope that entices the spirit
Embrace the thoughts that seize the mind
Dismiss the dreams that haunt the soul
Exalt the nightmares of the blooded Kine.
Behind the monolith lies a great stone staircase leading up to what can only be conceived as a fortress, though not entirely. As you look closer, the edges seem blurred and indistict, as though nearly incorporeal. Indeed, it is a haven of shadows, an abode of ethereal evils...
