Under a Blood Moon many ages before the new religions of the world, the 13 Great Elders gathered at the circle of stone.
Within the circle stood SAMHAIN the leader of the Great Elders, besides him stood two stone pillars. On one pillar rose the "ETERNAL FLAME", which the Great Elders looked to for guidance, knowledge and hope. Above the second pillar floated the "BLOOD QUILL" which possessed ever flowing blood ink from the Ancestrals and kept an on going record of all things. Also in the circles' center sternly sitting with eyes trained on Samhain were the Alpha wolf and the Omega wolf from from the strongest pack in all the lands. The reason for this gathering was the recent turn of events in which the Lesser Demons together with the Men of Black Hearts reeked havoc upon all the lands. They then created an unnatural creature, one that has risen from the dead and lives and survives by feeding on innocent blood, the are known as VAMPYR.. The Great Elders knew their time was short for this world, so this meeting was a great cerimonial passing, they would pass on their knowledge, history, honor and strength to the wolves. Samhain turned to the Elder to his right and from the small wooden chest strapped to his side, Samhain removed a "GOLDEN GRAIL" and lifted in his right hand and pressed it against his left cheek and out of the cuff of his left sleeve he produced a small ruby encrusted dagger which he lifted up and cut a small openning below his left eye allowing several drops of his blood to drip into the Golden Grail.
Samhain then passed it to to the next Elder to his left who repeated Samhain's act, who then passed to the next Elder and once all the Elders completed their task and the Golden Grail made it's way back to Samhain, he knelt down in front of the wolves and had them drink from the Golden Grail. Samhain then took the dagger and made a small cut below each wolves left eye, Samhain then proceeded to take each wolves right ear and pressed them between his thumb and forefinger branding the image of the "BLOOD MOON" on the inside and Samhain told them only BLOOD WOLVES and those you defeat in battle will be able to see the BLOOD MOON's glow. Samhain then said to the wolves, from this point forward you will known as "LYCOS" and you by his side will be known as "LUNA", the blood you drank will make you one with the Great Elders and change you into supernatural beings called "UBOR LYCANS". The cut below your eye will become a permanent blood teardrop marking, in rememberance of this night and all of your clan will possess it. Samhain then raised his arms to the heavens and proclaimed you will now and forever be known as "BLOOD WOLVES" and you will take the "Eternal Flame" and the "Blood Quill", you will go to the furthest reaches of the world, you will then create a clan and it will be known as "UNION OF BLOOD WOLVES". You will grow in numbers and strength, you will have an oath to the clan and to seek out and rid the lands of all our enemies ! Samhain and the 12 Great Elders turned and walked back into the forest, the two Blood Wolves turned in the opposite direction and ran off to create what we are today ,We are Strong, Loyal, and Honorable ! ........ WE ARE
