* "Antediluvian" is used to refer to the most ancient of vampires (in excess of 10,000 years old). Cain created thirteen elders who founded the thirteen clans of vampire, and who have remained in hiding or suspended animation from the time of the flood of Noah. Their return is a sign of the end times known as Gehenna.

I too am a "Antediluvian", though I am not a vampire, no, I am much worse. It is said Cain was the first of his kind. He is the most powerful of vampires, cursed by god himself. I too am the first and most powerful of my kind, not cursed but given power by the all mighty himself, SATAN. We both are immortal, however the farther from our bloodline that our spawn become the weaker they are, as the curse of Cain is changed over time. Each Vampire belongs to one of the thirteen bloodlines. These bloodlines share distinct characterisics, powers and curses. Since I was not cursed by god I am not restricted like Cain, however my gift does have disadvantages if you were not chosen by me to recieve it. It was never intended for us to become enemies, but it was innevitable. The two of our species once worked together, but the vampires new that we were much more powerful than they, and that we would destroy them. That is when the betrayal began, they set out to kill all of my kind. That is when we waged war on one another and the world fell to darkness.
With the great flood a new world was meant to become. I and my most trusted of men managed to survive but were trapped in suspendid animation. Cain and his thirteen elders stowed away on Noah's vessel, feeding on the animals that were aboard. Cain and his thirteen take turns ruling while the others slumber. The vampires spread their infection throughtout the world. They rule the night and some are even revered and worshipped, though the powers of the Inquisition and other mortal foes restrain their freedom. They have landed themselves right on top of the food chain. That is all about to change!
I have awakened from my slumber and am ready to take the thrown, there will soon be a slaughtering of the lambs. Day by day I grow stronger and my pack grows larger. We will destroy all!
