Brought up in a small town, Liessa had always been a quiet child who kept to herself. As she entered her teens she found it ever more difficult to feel part of the community - life seemed distant to her and out of focus. The only time she felt truly alive was during the hours of darkness and she would often spend hours walking alone through the empty streets. One wintry night she realised too late that she was not the only creature stalking through the town. The choice was death or an eternal life of darkness - she didn’t hesitate to make her decision…
