Character description
I was sick. Sick of my life, of this endless loop spinning around me. It was just over and over, my work, my so-called friends, who would betray me without even noticing it in their hunger for greater power no matter costs. I was just sick...
And then I met her. I'd never felt this faint rumbling in my fingers, this strange feeling when I was with her. Was it love? Probably. "It has to be." I said to myself, but still, I wasn't sure.
I told her about my feelings. She didn't say anything. She just smiled at me with that smile I liked so much and kissed me. "Yes, I love her." I thought.
We were the best friends and lovers at the same time. It was wonderful. I told her about my life, about my desire to escape, to be free of all of those petty things I hated so much. She smiled again, but this was different kind of smile. It was telling me: "I know how you feel."
She said: "I can help you, but you have to trust me." I looked at her seriously and said: "Of all people in the world, I trust you more than anybody else."
She looked at me as if she was deciding about something. We sat there silently for the next five minutes. Then she leaned to me and I thought she wanted to whisper some encouraging words to me. What came next was something completely different, something new...
A new life was born. Life of the vampire. My new life.
