Character description
Her long brown hair was matted as she rubbed up against the barn wall. She never heard of wolves attacking on thier own before... or nobody told her. The wolf bared his teeth at her and growled, saliva dripping from the corner of it's mouth. His eyes slanted as he leapt closer... closer. Adriana closed her eyes and ran for an open stall. As she ran, the wolf stood, watching, and it changed, somewhat, into what seemed to be a man. He chased after her, and pressed her up against one of the walls. She thought of her father, of David, of her mother, her brother. When she opened her eyes, the wolfman held his hand to her troat and smiled grimly.
"You have the speed and cunning of your father," he said softly, as if he was impressed. "But the bad thing is you have his blood." And with that he lifted her hand, shaking at her side, and bit hard into it. She screamed furiously, and bloodied his face with her long nails. As the wolfman retreated, she slid to the ground and blacked out. The last thing she saw was a wolf... sitting at the door, watching her. She knew it meant her no harm. She closed her eyes , not to open them again for a long time...
