Vampire Laeth
Character description
My history is dark and bloody but you can stay and listen if you think you can stomach it. It was eight hundred years ago to this day that I was turned to the dark path but I was tainted long before that. As a human I was a thief, a cutthroat, I played on the innocents and was without remorse. I would stalk my victims for hours, watching the aristocrats stroll around as if they were impervious to the world. I changed that, the look in their eyes as I would gently slide in my blade between their ribs was sheer ecstasy. I have to admit that it was the excitement of the hunt that appealed to me more than the gold ever could. So I was content in my life and felt like goddess of the night, the night was my domain and I was its master. All who dared venture there were mine and I could do with them as I wished for they had no power over me. That was until the night that the vampires arrived, that night I was tested to all of my human abilities just to avoid those beings of the dark. They moved with unnatural agility and were enchanting to behold. The way they massacred the townsfolk with such joy and ruthlessness was truly fantastic. That night my life changed forever, I fought with all my strength to fight them off and had I known of the precious gift they were to offer me I would have thrown down my dagger there and presented my soft and delicate neck immediately for it was on that night that I was turned and I tasted true power. I fought longer than I can ever remember, for what felt longer than all my life but what happened transpired and ended before the first rays of dawn even crept over the horizon. I was beset by vampires from all sides, swiping with fluidic motion and dragging me to within an inch of death, and then from the darkness came a figure, a great vampire lord, who offered me the chance to be free of my mortal prison. A chance to feel pure power, I was so afraid to die that I accepted. I finally felt what it was to be a goddess and my eyes were opened. Everything in life was so much sweeter after that day. My vampiric legacy has done much for me and as such I have evolved from petty thievery and now hunt a much more valuable prise. Blood, the taste is indescribable, to feel the warm liquid slide effortlessly from a victim into my mouth is intoxicating. To hold the innocent as their live slides away into nothing is so seductive to my nature that I am now a reaper of the harvest that is man. Well human, now you have heard my story and become seduced by my voice and you do not even realise. Now human, I am hungry
