Suterusu is a born vampire. Suterusu stands at about 5'4 (154 cm) and weighs about 130 pounds (59 kg). His handsome features are sharp and well proportioned, and unlike others of his kind, Suterusu's skin is dark tan and his stark white hair is long, thick, and flowing. Perhaps Suterusu's most striking feature, though, are his eyes, which are a lavender hue and seem to glow fiercely when he is angry or determined. It has been speculated that his violet eyes may be rooted to a minor werewolf heritage, though it cannot be traced. He normally wears a fur-collared green forest cloak and high black boots, with a necklace of black diamond. At present, he is in the neighborhood of seventy years old, not old enough to be considered a master by vampiral cultural standards. It is common knowledge that the average lifespan of a vampire is between 700 and 800 years, but accounting for displacement of the natural vamp habitat, it is yet to be seen if his potential lifespan will be reached.
PERSONALITY:
Outwardly calm and composed, Suterusu still has a burning rage suppressed within him. While he has mastered that side of his psyche—he refers to it as "the Hunter"—it can still surface when Suterusu is hard-pressed and under great emotional duress. The "Hunter" was a cold, passionless alternate personality that epitomized Suterusu's fighting prowess. When not possessed by the "Hunter," Suterusu is cool-headed, a peacemaker, and is always willing to avoid a fight if he can. When the situation calls for it, however, he can be incredibly daring, even reckless. In fact, several of his friends are convinced that someday the vamp will leap into a situation that he will not be able to get out of. He harbors a deep love for the world and cherishes his place in it, though many are still prejudiced against him, for the vampires are known to be cruel killers without mercy.
His technique is more about training one's muscles to respond, quickly and in perfect harmony, to the calls of the mind, and more importantly, to the calls of the imagination. He taught that improvisation, not rote responses, separated a warrior from a weapons master.
When the tides turn bad, or when facing overwhelming opponents such as high ranking weres, he calls upon his innate vampire abilities. In this situation, Suterusu fights on instinct, using sound and even the feel of the air around him to predict enemy attacks and find holes in his opponents' defenses—an act which generally gives him the upper hand, as very few people can match Suterusu in such a situation.
As a child growing up, Suterusu was always picked on. He was a frail looking boy with very little skills. At age 6, he took the initiative. For the next 14 years of his life, he secluded himself from everyone else. He costantly trained himself. He later learned how to mask his own traits (scent, sound, etc.) and trained his hearing beyond that of others of his kind. He then trained himself to become one with darkness; to blend in, see, move, etc. Finally at age 20, he felt he was a complete master.
