Sabre Levant was first in the ranks of the vampiric Nathrezim (by the human tongue of Theramore known as Overlords), and served as a royal count to the demonlords of the Chaos Legion, under his master, Arrancar. He originally resided in the Twisting Nether and returned there occasionally to commune with the second and third Overlords; Anetheron and Mephistroth, respectively.
After Turalyon's failure against the werewolves during the Second War, Sabre Levant was ordered to watch over the Overseer, Nefarion in Theramore, and ensure that the vampires and overlords worked towards its goal; preparing the way for the return of the Chaos Legion into Theramore. He oversaw the early years of the Vampire Plague, the War of the Werewolves, and the eventual Plague of Undeath that spread south into Celentor. There, he sent a lesser Over lord, Mal'Ganis, to oversee the vampire minions agent Necrodus as he infected the northern areas of the kingdom. Ironically, he became commander of the man that killed them both, as well.
