Even when I lived with them I couldn stand them. Humans were loud and smelly. I would always be off in the runes, or climbing trees. The young males loved to through rocks and laugh at me, though that stopped when I beat them up one day.
But in the runes, well thats were I met Him. I should have run when I saw him, he told me to do as much, but I couldn leave him there hurt and alone.
He had bite marks on his neck and a sword had been used on him. His eyes were the yellow of a wolf. I knew what he was, and I still went to him. I cared for him and brought him food. In return he told me stories. Good and bad, I loved them all the same. He would tell me of the werewolf that had given him his curse and the vampire that killed him. He told me why he was here and that he was trying to avenge his mentors killer. Though he was still to weak to fight him. And he would tell me of things I had never even though possible. I hoped it would never end, but it had to.

My stupid villagers found out about him, and were going to kill him. He was putting up such a fight that I was sure he would win. But as he tore through one, another had him with a silver knife near the heart. It was not enough to kill him, but it was close.
I ripped away from the man that held me, my shoulder slicing under the knife he held in the proses. As I ran to defend the werewolf a sliver arrow was fired. It pierced my shoulder and went through to his heart. Our blood mingled and as he looked down at me with shock and pain he said only one thing."Forgive me"
With the last of his strength he sent the two of us to the one place we had both felt safe. The runes. He was dead when we crashed to the ground, and I felt the wolf blood flowing through my vanes. It was my fault, he lost his life, and I lost my humanity.
