Character description
Thanks to Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity, E=MC^2, Which states that energy and matter are two manifestations of the same thing, we now have another question to ask, from what are they manifested?
With this knowledge the nuclear warhead was created based on the fact that when you annihilate matter, it produces so much energy that the force of the release of this energy can be measured in tons.
I propose that Nosferatu work on close to the same principle...
Through nuclear fission of an eternally renewable energy source(blood), these so called "creatures of the night" produce extreme amounts of energy that are either used right away, or stored for future use. This amazing amount of energy is needed for the "superhuman" abilities(explained later) vampires are capable of.
These nuclear reactions are catalyzed by specialized enzymes produced by specific glands present, but dormant, in the human body. When vampires bite victims, they inject a venom in much the same way snakes do. This venom is not much unlike that of a zombie, in that it kills but reanimates at the same time. During this period of reanimation, the primal physiological processes "wake up". These processes include the continuous growth of muscle potential at all points around the body, the expedited evolution and growth of the brain, the deposit of extra calcium to the bones(most prevalent in the foremost upper canines), the growth and constant stimulation of the adrenal glands, and the reactivation of the nuclear enzyme producing gland.
All of these processes work together in harmony to create a vampire. The muscle growth not only allows the superhuman strength and speed, but also reinforces the stomach, where the nuclear reactions occur. The adrenal glands produce a constant low for malnourished vampires that still far surpasses that of any human allowing them to still be able to over come prey, and regain blood. The fats in the body release all their stred energy at the beginning of reanimation to help the process along, and in the meantime, they form a new more condensed fat cell that is able to hold the new amount of energy. The constant calcium deposit to bones build upon bone strength so that they can withstand the force from the high impact physical abilities gained by vampires. This bone growth also stimulates the production of fangs, while root canals gain a port to the outside at the very fine tip, and are used as venom ducts. The growth and evolution of the brain allows for the hypnotism, flight, and "transfiguration" abilities.
The growth of the vampire brain allows some telekinetic abilities, such as hypnotism, and levitation. Hypnotism is a trick of the mind through extreme abilities of the power of suggestion, in this case, the suggested actions are transposed upon the victims brain, making it close to impossible for humans to resist. Levitation allows vampires to move them self through space at rapid speeds through the power of suggestion applied to physics, they suggest differences in physics on only a concentric level, although some vampires have been able to develop this ability to the point where they can control the physics surrounding them to a certain range. Levitation appears to be flight because of simple the illusion created by an outstretched cape. Transfiguration into a bat is a mixture of the two; the vampire transposes an image of a bat over his image in the human viewers minds, while levitating.
As for Immortality, Its a myth, but rapid regeneration on the other hand, is not. The body in its post postmortem state begins to break down, this helps with the energy, but if a vampire goes to long without blood it will deteriorate, however, some vampires have learned how to control this so it acts as a form of hibernation. Not only is blood an energy source, it is broken down and reconfigured in small amounts continuously to keep the vampire looking his best, and rapidly for regeneration, so rapid in fact that regenerated brain tissue keeps nerve impulses going without a sign of hesitation, and creates no loss of memory.
Although the extreme amounts of energy help to preserve and bolster the well being of vampires, it also hinders them in some respects. A vampire has a volitile nature due to this type of energy creation and, much like a person with severe ADHD, many lower level vampires can't control their urges to just drop everything and rampage. The new reborn vampire has to grow into its new abilities. If these flegling vampires make it through the first couple of months with out loosing their "afterlife", then they have passed the period known as the gauntlet, by the end of which their new bodies have matured to the point where they have begun to attain all the new basic abilities, and thus need no longer worry about their own health when afflicted with smaller, normally life threatening injuries. These abilities grow continuously throughout the vampires new life, because of this constant growth, some origin based vampiers have reached a point where it is necessary to seal partial use of the abilities. The highest known number of seals needed by one vampire is three. The only atribute not physically attained is a vampires invulnerability, or even affinity, toward pain; once it is achieved, there is no need for its growth, so it remains constant, removing any chance the vampire will gain a craving for pain beyond blood. If this craving does occur, the vampire may choose to supplement daily pain by upgrading from a coffin to an iron maiden, but if no supplement is found, they may drive themself to death just to achieve pain.
Another side affect attributed to the internal nuclear fission power source is the affinity for darkness, and a fear of the sun. Because such high energy reations are occuring within the vampire, they are prone to overheat, even just the extra heat from the sun would cause them to spontaneously cumbust from the inside out, resulting in a quick burning, second dead heap of ash. In the darkness, however, shade is able to provide enough cool to keep the vampire's body temperatures in equilibrium. However, once again through the use of their mental abilities, some vampires have been able to rework their hypothalmus so that during the day their bodies will sense a critical shut-off point for temperature. So if they get anywhere remotly close to the cumbustion point, they will halt the energy production and use the energy stored in their fatcells.
--This process should only be attempted by higher level vampires, those that have attained 0-energy hybernation, because it uses those stores of energy, that act as a fial safe against starvation, at a rapid rate-- Once a low enough temperature is reached, the energy creation process begins again. The atribute is present without work, only in half-lings. Because they never died compleatly, human tendancies still overrun the body, making it the wakling half-brother of full fleged vampires.
This theory in full, proves vampire superiority to all creatures... including werewolves. There are only 2 known ways to surpass the vampire blood limit. One is a hybrid vampire werewolf, only achieved through the mutual agreement between a vampire and a wolf to bite each other at the exact same time; two are produced in every instant of this occurrence. The bite of these hybrids turn victims into the more prevalent blood type, aka the original nature. The other is to become a God, only achieved through divine acceptance, killing a god, or extreme human focus as demonstrated by Buddah.
