Natalia Vanvleet grew up in a quite little Romanian town of MAROTINU DE SUS. She always wanted to be in the steps of her step- father, the great vampire slayer Gheorghe Marinescu. She was an outcast of the village and always wanted to prove that she wasnt just some freak outta wedlock. Her father strangely dissappeared after the realization of her mother being impregnated outta wedlock. Ever since Natalia knew Gheorghe, she was always training with him to slay vampires, some even think that she was better than him. On Feb. 4th, she went on a hunt by herself to prove that she really was better than her step-father. So she went out into the forest and saw an abandoned house. She went in and heard some noise comming from the upstairs. So she went upstairs, and saw a lycan fighting with her real father. So she went in to save him and realized she made a major mistake. They were fighting over her. They were fighting over which side she should be on. After many attempts from the lycan to turn her, her father finally got the chance to make her a full vampire. And ever since then she has been following in the footsteps of her father.
