Karofsky is a dark, brooding vampire lonely from a thousand years of immortality and longing for his beloved. He was captivated by the beauty of youth and became immortal, but his beloved took her own life when she discovered what he too wished for her. The taste for blood and eternal sleep has been unrelenting. Karofsky is somewhat bitter and despondent, although he makes the best of it by a large and varied circle of friends some vampires some not, comic books, fast food, and partakes of the nightly festivities in his town amongst the few who accept his kind.
