Character description
Where i was born, i was known as the daughter of the devil himself. I have raven hair and blood-red eyes. And for this reason, my folk disowned me as their child and was left in the middle of the forest to die. I saw a huge, black creature that came toward me. Now that i think of it, i thought it looked like a bear. But when it came close i saw a huge, black wolf right on top of me. Even though i was an infant at that time, i can still remember it so clearly as if it had happened just yesterday. I remember seeing another figure suddenly appearing behind the wolf, a man. And before i knew what was happening, the wolf was no longer on top of me but instead, it was lying limp on the ground beside me. The man lifted me up and everything around us became blur for a minute. When the surroundings became clear again, the forest became a bedroom. I found myself living for years in an old house with him. I never knew his name or anything about him, except that he’s a vampire, for he never told me. But i learned things about myself instead. I’m a human. Yes, a human . . . with a vampire blood. I’m growing weaker and weaker every year because my own blood is being devoured by the other. At an age of 10, i was so weak that i fainted. However, before that happened, the last thing that i remember was seeing his face for the last time with my sight slowly fading and i said “ am i going to die?”. Then everything went dark . . .
I woke up inside on my bed feeling different. My whole body ached and every part of me was sore. But then again, i felt better. I felt stronger.
