Once a powerful Vampire Lord on the ruling council of a Vampire clan, that hunted both humans and werewolves for well over 1000 years.
Seven hundred years ago that clan was attacked by a huge pack of Werewolves, the attack killed the all but a handful, aravak slaughtered hundreds of the attackers but was wounded and left for dead. One loyal human servant Taranu dragged him out and sacrificed himself to aravak keeping him alive until he could get to a sarcophagus where he has recovered some of his strength and his hatred of werewolf kind has grown and his heart has grown black indeed!
