Character description
Living in a snowy wasteland can have a serious impact on one's life, especially after a horrible accident that leaves you alone to run an empty manor miles away from any town by one's self. Davi grew up without anyone. The townsfolk of the far away village feared him, for they thought he murdered all of his family. After two decades of loneliness and emptiness, Davi turned to a darker path. A once moralistic and dreaming boy soon frequented the town's taverns, not to partake in spirits, but to wait for those too drunk to defend themselves. Davi fought his emptiness not by taking advantage of those too drunk to defend themselves, but by given those who didn't deserve their lives a taste of death. As the death count of the town's drunkards dwindled, the citizens weren't sure to celebrate, or fear. Only the drunkards, and soon after, rapists were dying. And Davi soon became a teacher in the community, hoping that the respect and sociality would heal his wounds. During the day, the community was safe and educated, though never fully trusting Davi, and at night, Davi hunted only the evil and unjust of life. One night however, he followed an Elder, mistaking him as a common thief. When the Elder found a victim, Davi attempted to kill the Elder. As Davi defended the victim, and viciously struck out against the Elder, the Elder saw a spark of life despite Davi's immense emptiness. However, the Elder had to punish Davi's arrogance, and quickly struck a near-fatal blow to Davi. Bleeding and barerly concious, Davi was presented a choice: Live as the Elder's Servant, protecting the town from the enemy Werewolves, and have all eternity to find a way to eliminate his emptiness, or die never finding purpose in life. The Elder joked and said that if he didn't take Davi's blood tonight, he would just hunt down his attempted victim, and kill her for her blood. Outraged, Davi swore he'd protect the happiness he could never have no matter what. The Elder chuckled, and asked how he could do that dead? The only chance Davi had was to protect the bittersweet happiness as his servant. The choice was made. Now unliving and undead, Davi opened his cold manor to his sire, and protects the town, feasting on the evil humans who still remain, and slaughtering the Werewolves that dare approach this barren land. Will Davi ever find a cure for the emptiness within him, or will his hunger change into something more vicious than simply vengeance in the name of good?
