HISTORY:
winter never really knew who her parents were because she was told that she was found in front of the gate of the shrine in their town one winter night. she grew up under the care and guidance of the shrine priests and priestesses and was taught various things including magic. she became a priestess at the age of 18. during that time, she also met a girl named fenris, a priestess-in-training under her. as time progressed, both mentor and student grew close and love blossomed between the two, despite of them being both female.

one night, a half-wolf, half-human being attacked the shrine and threatened to kill all the people there. winter immediately defended the shrine but was unfortunately overcome by the strength of the werewolf. she was bitten twice and was weakened tremendously. as she struggled to find fenris, a grisly sight surprised her when she went into her room. she saw the werewolf brutally murder her lover in front of her eyes. with anger filling her broken heart, winter summoned all her remaining powers to finish the attacker. in the end, the werewolf was killed, the shrine was safe but winter blamed herself for the death of fenris.

winter communed with the spirit of fenris and discovered that her soul was bound to the earth because of her brutal death. winter decided to summon her spirit and let it reside in her body. ignoring its life-threatening effect, winter took fenris' soul and soon, she had both her own soul and fenris' residing inside her body.


APPEARANCE and PERSONALITY:

winter stands at 5'8". she appears thin and unusually pale due to her poor health (having two souls weakens the physical body for both souls shall require energy and aura from the person). she has mismatched eyes due to heterochromia and has poor eyesight. she can be physically strong but has low stamina. her maximum fighting time is only 15 minutes, after that, her body can break down and she can die. with this drawback, winter makes up for it with her quick and efficient fighting technique and knowledge of magic. an ofuda (paper talisman) is attached to her chest which keeps fenris' spirit sealed inside her. her werewolf bite scars are located on her right collar bone and left hand and wrist. she is usually seen in dark clothing.

winter is often quiet and values her time alone. she loves to read books of various subjects and draws on her journal. she can be sarcastic at times but is very kind if you got on her good side. she does not trust people easily and it takes a whole lot of time and work to gain her full trust.

when transformed, winter becomes a werewolf with white fur. all her senses are heightened (including her eyesight). the ofuda is still present (although partially hidden within her fur) on her chest. as a werewolf, she can use both her souls' energy and use it in her favor. her maximum fighting time is doubled (30 minutes) but she still decides to end her fights quickly.
