" Thank you for this gift that you so generously have offered", She whispered softly, her melodic voice barely audiable over the howl of the wind. Holding her victim firmly against the wall, she gently brushed the hair away from the frightened woman's neck. The flesh, tender and unspoiled...
"Please... let me go!", The woman begged, her voice thick with sobs as she struggled against her assailant's firm grip, her face pushed up against the cool rough surface of the building. The pitiful pleas for mercy excited Setsuna, She always enjoyed it more when they screamed for her to stop.
Just as her lips curved into a vindictive smile, she peirced the womans throat, the skin yeilding to the pressure of her pointed fangs easily. As she fed off the woman, she listened to sound of the human's heart beating, fast at first but beginning to slow as strength and life left her. " I'm sorry, I'm sure you were loved; but I needed this...", she said to the dead woman as she lowered her gently to the ground.
Setsuna was cruel and she enjoyed the hunt, but still she couldn't help but allow herself to feel sorry for her victims. They didn't deserve to die so she could live, often she avoided feeding until the bloodlust could not be kept at bay, but it made no difference... she was a killer now. Had been for many years, but still it was the act of choosing who to take that kept her from sleep.
