In Human form, Shantai is very petite--she stands only 5'5'', with wavy brown hair that tumbles down to just below her shoulders. Her skin is gently golden, and her eyes are a shocking green. She has an hour-glass shape, and thick lashes that give her a perpetually innocent look. She generally wears a short pair of shorts and a white tank top. Her hair is pulled halfway back, except for a lock of hair that was draped in her face.
