From the time May was very small, she always noticed her craving for something unknown. She knew she was different from the other girls her age, but never knew why. Her hair never got darker in winter, or lighter in summer, and her blue eyes always turned a deep purple at nightfall. May never asked questions when she was told to stay inside after dark, or why she was given raw meat from a cow.
On May's 16th birthday, her teeth began to sharpen, and her craving became uncontrollable. That night, she murdered her parents and two sisters. When she saw what she'd done, she ran away.
After three days of running, she came to a small village. There, she raided homes, and killed many, until she found Aidan. He answered all of her questions, and let her stay in his home, just outside of the village she had destroyed not long before.
One night, a man came to their door, asking for May. He told her that he was her Grandfather, and he wished to take her with him to his home. May, politely declined, and explained that she was happy with Aidan. Her Grandfather began to scream, then grabbed May and through against the wall. On a rampage, May killed her Grandfather, and bit Aidan. Horrorfied at her actions, she picked up Aidan and ran as far as she could, until she came here.
