A skilled practitioner of the dark arts and a respectable warrior in his own right Rhapthorne hails from ancient Japan and is somewhat of an odd duck amongst his kin. Due to his past life as a samurai before his turning by a vampiress who saved him from certain death on the battlefield he slays werewolves with no less ferocity than any other Vampire yet he views his foes with respect rather than hate. To him every creature has its place in the cycle of life and death and though he relishes the thrill of the hunt he despises those of his kind to who kill werewolves too weak to prove fair game and at times has been known to turn his blade on fellow vampires whom he feels have disgraced the species. His distinguishing features is his snow white hair tied back in a long ponytail and blood red eyes with black slitted irises the rest of his face hidden by a crimson scarf and black samurai armor.
