In the distance you see a white glint of fur under the moonlight. The movement is too quick for you to discern exactly what you saw, but you feel an overpowering sense of danger.
A piercing howl cuts through the silence of the night, far too close to you. A burst of movement out of the corner of your eye. Turning to follow it with your eyes you see only shadows.
Suddenly you feel enveloped by darkness, and realize that you are now the prey.
Illuminated by a ray of moonlight you finally see the creature. A massive creature of lupine features, its coat is white as the first winter snows. As it steps in soundless circles around you its muscles twitch with incredible power and move with deadly grace. It stands in a mixture of two legs, and of four, as if it is not sure if it wishes to be more man or wolf, yet it always remains bent low to the ground. Long white fangs and razor sharp talons glisten as it silently steps. The eyes, deep pools of crimson that set your heart racing in fear.
Deep within, you feel this great creature before you may be the devil himself. You know you have no hope of outrunning it, and as the thought crosses your mind, you see a smile form on the muzzle of this demon. A sinister smile as it can smell your fear. A low growl emanates from its throat, a sound of glass and gravel being ground through a church organ. You step slowly away, and suddenly the image before you blurs as the beast lunges...
