I awakened within the depths of an opened tomb, the body of a would-be graverobber slumped over the lip of my stone prison. His vile blood is what stirred me from torpor...disgusting vermin. His betrayers more than made up for this indignation.
My memory is blurred and my true name is but a whisper in my dreams, that which I cannot manage to hear. "Adefice"---the strange word I found engraved on this pocketwatch I awoke with, will do for a name. The world may have changed significantly, but one familiar presence still keeps my Beast at the end of his chain...Father.
I saw this life, or lack thereof, as a meaningless cycle of eternal feeding and damnation. It is for this reason that I seek a higher purpose than most Kindred. I seek Power. I seek Enlightenment. I seek the Father...
