Character description
Adriano awoke with a big yawn. He went over to his mirror, and looked at himself. Tall for a 10-year old, with his father's handsome features, skin tone and black hair. Under the hair his nearly black eyes almost sparkled, and his upper body wasn't the worst. He went over to the window and looked out. It was nine o'clock; every other child in Venice was now at school. All but him. He knew he wasn't like the others, but he didn't know why. He had just never been like the other children, never. Strange things always happened around him – he didn't know why, but they did. And he could read the other children's thoughts – and their problems were nothing against his. Adriano sighed, before turning to his night table, opening the drawer, and taking a sharp knife out. He smiled, seated himself on his bed, and cut his wrist open. He fascinated watched – for probably the hundredth time – his blood flow down his arm, until the wound seconds later was healed. He smiled, and licked his own blood away. God, how good blood tasted. That was also another thing that disconnected him from the other children – he liked blood. He liked the sound of it dripping, the sight of it, and the taste of it. He also always went to another doctor than the others, a special doctor. Last time he was there, the doctor said something to Gregorio of his fangs evolving much quicker than normally, that they usually first came around the 16th year. Adriano had wondered over his using of the word fangs – 'cause humans don't have fangs, do they? He had wondered quite a lot over that. He also grew way quicker than the others; he was already 145 centimeters high, even though he was only ten years old. "Adriano!" Gregorio's voice sounded from downstairs. "Come down here, you're missing your training!" "Yeah dad, I'll come down now." Adriano replied, before licking the last blood of the knife, without caring that his tongue got cut. He then rose from the bed, walked over to his closet, and chose a simple white shirt and some black jeans. He then coamed his hair, before walking out of his room. He walked down the long, Victorian style stair, and ended up in the big hall, decorated with different Italian statues, gold and crimson red velvet curtains everywhere. He went over the marble floor, and pushed a door to the right open. He then came into the big living room, where the windows were covered, not letting any light in. Gregorio sat by the fire, reading a book. He looked up when Adriano entered the room. "Faster than normal." he smiled, laying the book down on the table. Adriano seated himself on a chair on the opposite side of the table. "I guess." Adriano shrugged. Gregorio leaned in towards him. "You do remember where we ended last time, right?" "Yeah, the rituals." Adriano said, nodding. "Good. And have you trained your Rumanian?" "Yes, father." Adriano replied in Rumanian. Gregorio smiled. "Good. Well, now to the rituals..."
Three years after or so, Adriano got out of the pitch black limo and looked up in the sky – which was the exact same color as the car. He was wearing nothing else than underwear and a crimson red gown. He slowly walked up to the huge mansion, encouraged by Gregorio – but his words never really entered Adriano's mind. Adriano just walked along, not really paying attention to the things around him, too nervous about what was going to happen to him. He knew that his dad had said his blood was just going to be cleaned, and in that way he would finally enter the Armaya's. "Will you forever serve the house of Armaya, and only do, what is for Armaya's best?" one of the full-bloods asked, looking down at Adriano, who silently nodded. "You will then, clear your blood in the most pure blood ever seen, drink, till there's nothing left?" "Yes." "Then you are ready. Enter the pool." Adriano nodded, and took a heavy sigh, before slowly walking over to the edge of the pool – completely filled with crimson blood. He began climbing down the stairs, into the warm and smooth blood. He left his gown, before he downed into it. That sensation... The warm, crimson blood, smooth against his skin, prickling his tongue as he jerked it out to taste it. It was better, purer, than any blood he had ever drunk before. He felt like he was in heaven, and he never, ever wanted to leave this place.

Adriano woke with a yawn. As usually he went over to the mirror, looking at himself. He had well-defined muscles all over his torso and his arms. His face was as handsome as the rest of him – he was still his father's clone, except his mother's nearly black eyes. He was now 150 centimeters high, and fourteen years old. He had agreed to go with his girlfriend – Elaina, to her home. He went over to the closet and simply took a plain black shirt on and white jeans. He coamed his hair, before sticking his tongue out, to make sure there was no infection in his new tongue piercing. After that he went out on his balcony, enjoying the view over Venice. The mansion was right out to both the channel and the woods, and the sun was rising now. Perfect he thought; Daddy won't be any barrier. His 'dad' only came out at night – he didn't knew why, but he also didn't care. About an hour later he walked in the park. The sun was now on its way up to the middle of the sky, it was time for him to change direction – to the cinema. He turned around on the spot, plucked some flowers in the park, and then went for the cinema. When he arrived, Elaina was nowhere to be seen. He leaned against the cinema's wall, and waited. He was always in very good time; he knew he was at least twenty minutes early. Half an hour later, Elaina appeared in the far end of the road. Her long, curly and blonde hair in a pony tail. Her piercing blue eyes' gaze fell upon him, and she smiled. Today she was in a white top like a sports bra, and a short, black skirt. He smiled when she came to him, and smiled even bigger when she saw the flowers. "Flowers? For me? Oh, you're so sweet Andreas." she smiled, pecking him on the cheek as she took the boquette. Adriano smiled back. Andreas was his most common nickname, seeing as many of his friends weren't truly Italian, but movers, so they mostly talked English. After a good horror movie about vampires – and hugs and kisses – they left the cinema, laughing. "That vampire was just sooo poorly made." Adriano laughed. "Yeah, totally." Elaina agreed, leaning herself against him as they walked on, through the park. "Even I could make one better." Andreas laughed, as they seated themselves on a bench in the dark. Elaina laid herself with her head in Adriano's lap. "You could? Do you have the programs u need for them?" Elaina laughed. "No, better. A real vampire." "A real one? Oh, that one was good Andreas. Really good." Elaina laughed sarcastically. "I'm not lying." "Prove it." Elaina said with a stubborn undertone.
Adriano laughed, disposing his now big and fully grown fangs. Elaina went quiet instantly and stared at him. ".. Are... Are those real..?" she asked, clearly afraid. Andreas nodded silently. "Mmhmm. But don't worry. It's not like I'm going to kill you when you're my girlfriend, right? I love you of all my heart." he smiled silently and stroke a hand through her hair. She still didn't look confident at all. "I mean it. I would never hurt you, it would be like stamping on my own heart." he smiled and pecked her on her forehead. Elaina bit her lip. "Okay..." "Don't you trust me?" Adriano said, smiling warmly down at her. "You know I do. With all of my heart." "Then you know there's nothing to be afraid of." he smiled, and gave her a tongue kiss – being careful his fangs weren't hurting her. While snuggling, Adriano pushed Elaina down on her bed while he took his shirt of and laid himself on top of her. Elaina laid her arms around his neck, definitely forgetting everything about him being a vampire – it just couldn't be. He could walk the sun, so how could he be a vampire – that was what she thought, and why she now just didn't believe it. Those fangs were fake, and that was it. It was just to give her a fright he had done it, she was sure of that. He loved to give her a fright every now and then, so why not say he was a vampire? She sighed as Adriano's hand ran up her side, the other at her hip.
She broke the snug, and started kissing him down his jaw and neck. Adriano moaned low, and closed his eyes, enjoying every second she did it. She slowly kissed upwards again, as she laid her hand on his chest. Adriano smiled when she finished it with a deep, long and passionate kiss. He smiled, and started to give back – he slowly started kissing down her jaw. She relaxed totally, laying her head down on her pillow. Adriano began kissing her down the neck, as someone – no, something, awoke inside him. He felt a sudden hunger, a pain in his stomach – a craving for blood. He needed it – now. And he knew what was the fastest way to get it. Suddenly, he bit her, stuck his fangs in her neck, instantly feeling the hot and smooth blood flowing from her neck. Elaina started screaming, but Adriano just put a hand over her mouth as he started drinking, enjoying every moment of it. He closed his eyes, only seeing red and holding Elaina down in his search for all her blood. Only half a minute after her arm hung lifeless over the edge of the bed. Adriano pulled back, licking the blood of his lips, and looking at the last blood there was on her neck. He couldn't resist, and started licking it away, as the door suddenly opened. There stood Elaina's mother, Ekidna, and took her hands up in front of her when she saw the scenery – Adriano lying over her now dead girl, licking the last blood away, fangs exposed, and completely consumed by the blood he was licking off her daughter. Ekidna screamed, before throwing Adriano away from Elaina, yelling "What have you DONE?!" while taking Elaina in her arms, feeling her already ice-cold body. Adriano licked the last blood away from his fingers and lips, and looked at her with his now red eyes. Ekidna moved to the other side of the room with Elaina in her arms. "Who are you?" "Adriano, miss." Adriano said, his eyes turning his normal nearly black ones. There was still a little line of blood running from the corner of his mouth. Ekidna looked down at her dead daughter, with the once bright blue eyes now clouded and staring at the ceiling without moving. "What ARE you?" she said, after noticing the bite marks, and then looking up at him again. His fangs were still exposed. Ekidna's eyes widened. "A... A vampire?" "No, miss." Adriano said slowly. "What then?" "I'm only half vampire." and with those words, Adriano jumped out of the window, even though they were on fourth floor. [[More is coming soon! Adriano is now 29 but looks 21.]]
