Vampire Amadakia

Character description
My wife (Phocilia) and I were went to South America for our honeymoon. We were going down to spend sometime with our friends way out in the middle of the jungle. To get there we had to canoe down the river for a couple of days.
One night while I was searching for wood one night I was attacked by what I now know was vampire and woke up a few hours later confused and headed back to our camp. We found bite marks on my neck, but never thought much of it as I was alright and continued down the river the next morning. As the days continued I began to change, I grew stronger and faster, I was more in tune with the world around me and became much more irritable. I started disappearing for hours at a time just to go hunt food as I had an insatiable appetite for blood. I was afraid though to tell my wife and the others around as I didn't want them to know what was going on until I figured it out. In order to hide any idea of what I was doing I had to soak myself in the river and wash down before I came back, but I could never get rid of that awful smell of dried blood.
One night once we had arrived at our friends camp, I heard Phocilia yelling and ran to help. By the time I arrived, the beast that had attacked her had already bitten her. I dragged him off of her before he could kill her and managed to over power him and kill him with the machete that I had with me. I then took the body and buried it deep in the woods, so nothing else could find it, and so we wouldn’t smell it.
She soon began to change too. I noticed her become more separated, she would disappear as I often did, but I wasn’t sure why. Often I would wonder if maybe she was becoming something different. Her emotions began to change, she was more outlandish in her reactions and she become more fierce physically, being able to do things that she had never been able to think of doing before.
One night I snuck off to go find something to “snack” upon. I found a jaguar prowling through the jungle and decided to take it down and limb to limb followed slowly behind it trying not to spook it and lose my dinner. As I jumped down upon it a beast came out of the shadows and attacked it also. I did however recognize this “beast,” it was my wife, she had transformed into a werewolf and was in search of blood also. We realized that we had to find a way to still make this relationship work as we knew we could never get caught living like this. We promised to make sure that we always put our love for one another over the thirst for flesh and decided also to find a way to never be forced to drink human blood.
We wanted to find a way to cure this “disease” or at least suppress the desires coming from it if we could, so we headed back to the states to see if we could find help. We bought a farm to feed off of the animals and more than a few times have had to find ways to prevent our falling to our lust for human blood. I have been chained, jailed in the cell we built, and sedated just to protect those that live around us.
As of right now we are still not even close to finding a cure for this, but we are trying to live out our lives like normal people and then feast at night on the farm animals that we raise up. To prevent suspicion we sell the cattle and other animals after feasting on the blood, we make sure not to over drain or harm the animals in ways that would cause people to think strangely of us.
