I never knew, about the dark creatures that roamed the night. I suppose I had been naive, to think as mortals we were alone, with no thought of a danger far more frightening than any human serial psycho killer could evoke.
The night came when everything I thought I knew about this world came crumbling around me, I was bitten. And now, I am forced to bite others. To drink thier blood, thier essence as it were.
I am a fledgling as they call it, new to vampyrism, and new to this war we are forced to fight. I sit alone at my desk, the moonlite dances accross the news paper clippings I have set out. For a moment I think I feel my heart beat, it hasn't beat for days however. Sitting back I peer out of the window at the midnight sky. The hunt would begin soon. I must prepare.
